How to download your Ayushman Card online

If you're already an approved PM-JAY beneficiary, you can download your e-card yourself in a few minutes, with no CSC visit required. Here's the full process, followed by what to do with the PDF once you have it.

    Confirm your eligibility and details

    Keep your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, Aadhaar number, and state/district ready. You can also use your Family ID or PMJAY ID if you have applied before.

    Open the beneficiary portal or Umang app

    Go to beneficiary.nha.gov.in, or open the Umang app and search for "PMJAY". Both are official National Health Authority channels.

    Log in with mobile OTP

    Enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, fill in the OTP you receive, complete the captcha, and log in.

    Search for your record

    Select your state, district, and "PMJAY" under scheme. Search using your Aadhaar number, Family ID, or PMJAY ID to find your name in the list.

    Download the e-card PDF

    Click the download icon next to your name, then choose "Download Ayushman Card" to save the PDF to your phone or computer.

    Crop and print it

    Open the card crop tool, upload the PDF you just downloaded, drag the crop box over the card, and download a print-ready image sized for a standard card.

If your mobile number isn't linked to Aadhaar

The self-download process relies on an OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. If that doesn't work for you, you have two alternatives:

  • Visit a Common Service Centre (CSC): An operator can verify your identity and print or download the card for you, usually for a small service fee.
  • Ask at an empanelled hospital: Hospitals registered under PM-JAY can look up and print your card at the help desk when you need treatment.

Is downloading the Ayushman Card online free?

Yes. Downloading your e-card from the official PM-JAY beneficiary portal or the Umang app costs nothing.

What if my mobile number isn't linked to my Aadhaar?

The beneficiary portal generally requires an OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. If yours isn't linked, visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) or an empanelled hospital, either of which can verify your identity and print the card for you.
